Small Business Council

Objective: Support member businesses by providing education, recognition and networking opportunities.

Women’s Network Council

Objective: To encourage growth of women in business by addressing issues they encounter and to provide networking opportunities to participants.

Community and Economic Development Division
Objective: Enhance economic prosperity and quality of life in the Edmond area.  

Objective: Support programs and events that assist our educational partners and create a basis for mentorship with area businesses.  

Business Attraction and Expansion Task Force

Objective: Create a climate favorable for existing business expansion and new business attraction.  

Leadership Edmond Alumni Council

Objective: To provide opportunities for continued professional development and networking for graduates of Leadership Edmond.  

Conference Center Task Force

Objective: Support and promote a Conference Center in Edmond. Appoint a task force to achieve goals in the first quarter of 2008.  

Leadership Edmond Steering Committee

Objective: Organize a leadership development and community education program to cultivate community leaders for the future.  

Sister Cities Task Force

Objective: Create a sister city relationship with a city in another country for mutual benefit. 

Military Affairs Council

Objective: Provide support to and cultivate partnerships with Tinker Air Force Base and local military organizations.  

University Relations Council

Objective: To support the growth and expansion of the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma
Christian University. 

Youth Leadership Edmond Council – Class VIII

Objective: Sponsor a leadership development program for high school juniors and incorporate Youth Leadership Edmond students into positions of leadership in the community. 

Sustainable Green Business Council

To act as a catalyst and resource to facilitate, educate, promote and encourage sustainable/green business practices that will lower the impact on the environment while sustaining business.  

Organizational Development Division
Objective: To implement the policies and goals of the Board of Directors.  

Board of Directors

Objective: To direct and support the implementation of the annual Business Plan in a manner representative of the entire membership, and to set and direct matters of policy.

Executive Committee

Objective: To act for the Board of Directors between Board meetings, oversee the Strategic Plan, the Business Plan and the operating budget, and provide direction for the Chamber president and staff.  

Finance Committee

Objective: To insure that the Chamber remains fiscally sound through regular review of the Chamber’s annual operating budget and investments. 

Past Presidents and Chairmen Task Force

Objective: To capitalize on the experience and talents of past Chamber presidents and chairmen of the board.

Membership

Objective: To increase membership, retain existing members, and expand Chamber resources to better serve members.

Edmond Young Professionals (EYP)

Objective: EYP will work to attract and retain young professionals in the Edmond area while fostering the next generation of leaders.

Chairman’s Circle

Objective: To retain Chamber members by building and maintaining relationships through personal contact.  

Building Maintenance Task Force

Objective: To assist the Chamber in ongoing maintenance and upkeep of Chamber building.

Resource Development Campaign

Objective: To finance new and existing programs.
